------June 25, 2021------Haoran successfully passes his Ph.D. thesis defense. He is now very close to becoming Dr. Li. Congratulations!!!
------September 11, 2020------Our group has published a paper of Matters Arising type in Nature Communications entitled “Pitfalls in identifying active catalyst species”. “Matters Arising are exceptionally interesting and timely scientific comments and clarifications on original research papers published in Nature Communications”.
------May 29, 2020------Mr LI Haoran receives 3rd prize at the 6th HK University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
------April 28, 2020------Jiazheng successfully passes his Ph.D. thesis defense. He is now very close to becoming Dr. Ren. Congratulations!!!
------October 13-17, 2019------Prof. Chen leads a conference travel to Chongqing to attend the 19th National Congress on Catalysis of China and gives a presentation.
------May 25-26, 2019------Miss LI Ming receives Innovation Third-class Award at the 5th HK University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
------April 26-29, 2019------Prof. ZHAO Zhen from Shenyang Normal University (沈阳师范大学) pays a back visit to our lab and gives a seminar titled "Design, Preparation, and Catalytic Performance of the Macropore-based Catalysts for Soot Oxidation".
------April 01-06, 2019------Prof. Chen leads a research trip to Shenyang Normal University (沈阳师范大学) to conduct X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and gives presentations as follow:
Prof. Chen-"Measuring carbon deposition rate in methane dry reforming: a mission impossible";
Dr. Cheng-"CO2 self-poisoning of a CuO/Al2O3 catalyst for CO oxidation";
Miss Li-"Controlling the reduction extent for optimal performance of a Ni/Al2O3 dry reforming catalyst".

------July 20-23, 2018------Dr. CHENG Kai participates in the 11th Environmental Catalysis Session in China and gives a presentation titled "A Combination of Experimental and Theoretical Study on the Low Temperature NH3-SCR Activity of FeTiOx Catalysts via Cu Doping".
